Explore The Incredible Career Outcomes of Our BBA Graduates

Share

If you’re considering Michigan Ross, or any business school for that matter, you’re probably evaluating the career outcomes of the graduates at these schools.

We know that’s an important part of your decision process: I’m not sure where I want my career to go, but can I rely on this school to get my career started, regardless what path I choose? At Ross, we have strong employment outcomes year after year, and this past year was no different.

In a just-released employment report, we announced the career outcomes for our most recent graduating class. I’m always impressed and inspired by the success of our students and proud of the hard work they put in during their time at Ross.

And getting great results like this definitely takes hard work — students are busy during their time at Ross meeting with career counselors, attending resume workshops, participating in job action groups, networking with alumni and executives, practicing their interview skills, etc. Just check out this long, long list of career resources our students have access to during their search.

A few highlights from the recent report:

In our 2017 graduating class, 98 percent of graduates had a job offer within three months of graduation.

Salaries

Class of 2017 graduates earned a median base salary of $72,500. The companies hiring our graduates recognize their value, and the hard work our students put in during their education pays off.

Locations

Our graduates get jobs, quite literally, all across the country. 76 percent of our most recent class accepted jobs on the East Coast, West Coast, or Chicago — with about 39 percent landing in NYC or the tri-state area.

As a high school student, you don’t need to know exactly what you want to do or where you want to work after graduating. You’ll grow, learn, and change a tremendous amount in college (we’ll make sure of it with programs like Capstone MAP and offerings from the Sanger Leadership Center).

The point is, no matter how you change or grow, or where your interests take you, you’ll have incredible career resources here at Ross to help you land the job of your dreams.
