"Be unique. Be yourself."
JUST IN: Some Michigan Ross BBA Admissions Decisions Have Been Released
Today’s the day so many of our Michigan Ross BBA hopefuls have been waiting for!
About 10 minutes ago, we released our first batch of admissions offers to BBA applicants, letting them know that we’d love for them to become a part of the Ross family next fall.
Congratulations to these new Michigan Ross BBAs!
This is the first release of admissions decisions for the BBA Class of 2022. Decisions were delivered via email and will be posted in Wolverine Access next week. Our Prospective Student Guide offers detailed information on how to check your admission status.
You’ll be receiving an official welcome packet (we’re stuffing them into envelopes in the picture above) from our office in the coming days — keep a look out for it. It includes a special Ross flag that we’d love to see you flying proudly for years to come.
More decisions are coming throughout the winter and spring, as we work through applications and our review process, which I detailed in a blog earlier this week.
If you applied but didn’t receive a notification, there is no need to worry — we did not release any denial notifications at this time. Please know that your application is still under review. Not hearing today does not mean your end decision will be a “no”. Each year, there are Michigan Ross applicants that are admitted later in our process that were also Early Action Admits to U-M.
From an enrollment management perspective, we are looking to enroll 500 students that not only reflect our high academic standards, but also our institutional values and goals. We do look at you as an individual during your application review, and during this end process we weigh your application against the entire applicant pool. That process includes evaluating overall quality and size of the pool, our target class profile, and the percentage of applicants who accepted an offer of admission in the prior year, to name a few.
It is important to understand your application and decision in relation to this overall context of our entire applicant pool.
Remember that we adhere to a rolling admissions philosophy, which means we receive, review, and make decisions periodically as applications come in, and as our enrollment management process allows. There are many more decisions to send!
Pro tip: We typically release decisions on Fridays after 5:00 p.m. and we won’t be releasing any decisions next Friday.
Stay tuned for more news and updates on the process, and subscribe to our alerts to get new posts from this blog delivered directly to your email.
