The Ross Difference
The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan develops leaders who make a positive difference in the world. At Ross, you become part of an inclusive community known for leadership development, groundbreaking entrepreneurship, and a commitment to sustainability, social impact, and positive business.
Ross Leadership Development Program
During your orientation, you'll participate in an engaging workshop with the Sanger Leadership Center where you'll learn about the Michigan Model of Leadership, your personal strengths and weaknesses, and steps you can take now to further develop your capabilities and lead more adaptively. This intensive, one-day workshop is followed by a series of sessions and workshops throughout the elective terms in Ann Arbor. You can discover your true leadership potential through several other opportunities from the Sanger Leadership Center.
In addition to the traditional MBA electives available, the Global MBA Program offers unique opportunities through our Benchmarking Trips. Two trips are offered — one to New York and one to Silicon Valley. In each location, students visit about 10 companies, including financial institutions and IT companies, over a two-day period. These trips, exclusive to the Global MBA Program, provide opportunities to meet top executives at major U.S. companies.
