Sponsoring an employee in the Michigan Ross Part-Time MBA programs is an excellent opportunity for your company as well as your employee.
Our programs allow experienced professionals to earn a world-class MBA education while still working full time––our flexible formats are designed to meet the needs of both company and student. Roughly half of Ross part-time students receive company sponsorship.
Three formats––Weekend, Evening, Online––allow your company to find the right balance of work and education.
Your company substantially enhances its talent pool, with current employees receiving a top-ranked MBA education.
Students can immediately apply their class lessons to the workplace, improving their own performance and the company’s ROI.
Your company’s network expands through exposure to other top-tier classmates, and also 50,000 Michigan Ross alumni and more than 500,000 University of Michigan alumni.
Options for Assistance Structures
Percentage scholarship of tuition and fees, from 20-100 percent.
Specific dollar amount of sponsorship, capped per semester, year, course, or credit hour.
Company sponsorship with promised time commitment to company after degree completion.
The Weekend Program is a lockstep, cohort model where students are on campus for classes every other weekend. It also includes some distance learning. Classes run from 4-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The program is exactly two years in length.
The Evening Program offers local candidates weekday evening classes starting around 6 or 7 p.m. and ending at 9 or 10 p.m. Students take a set of required core courses and a variety of electives of their choosing. It also includes some online course options. Most students finish in three or four years.
The Online Program features self directed learning modules, synchronized learning classes, and three in-person weekend residencies. Students earn the degree at their own pace.
The signature Michigan Ross MAP course –– involving an immersive, real-world business project –– is required of Weekend and Online programs and is optional for Evening.
