Poets & Quants names Damian Beil One of the World’s 40 Best Professors Under 40

In another life, Professor Damian Beil might have become a marine biologist, but lucky for Michigan Ross he veered into business academia.

The professor of Technology and Operations has a lot on his plate and a number of accomplishments under his belt — launching the Master of Management Program, teaching in the MBA core, teaching in Executive Education, publishing prolific and impactful research, and being named the next Faculty Director of the Full-Time MBA Program.

It’s why he’s one of Poets & Quants’ world’s best 40 professors under 40.

Beil, 37, told Poets & Quants that his most proud professional achievement was launching the Master of Management at Ross.

“It was a soup-to-nuts endeavor with a team of colleagues, covering marketing to admissions to curriculum. Seeing our students enjoying the program and getting jobs is very gratifying,” he said.

You can read more about Beil’s academic and personal life (such as why he loves marine life) and check out the full 40 under 40 list on Poets & Quants.
