After crushing the school record in the shot put — a record he set himself in 2018 — by nearly a full meter, Liskowitz went on to compete in the 2019 World University Games in Naples, Italy, where he threw the second-longest mark of his career of 20.49m meters on July 8. The throw earned him a silver medal at the games, which was no easy feat as he was competing against the best collegiate athletes in the world.
