Michigan Ross Social Media Ambassador Program

Are you passionate about social media and enthusiastic about sharing your experiences at the Ross School of Business? We are seeking dynamic and creative social media ambassadors to represent and promote our school across various social media platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to build your resume, enhance your social media skills, and gain unique experiences while being an integral part of the Ross community.

Ambassador Responsibilities

Content creation

  • Brainstorm and create engaging social media content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create content for either the official Ross accounts or your personal social media accounts.
     

Meetings and collaboration

Attend monthly brainstorming meetings with fellow ambassadors to discuss content ideas and strategies.

Compliance

  • Adhere to Social Media Community Guidelines and represent Michigan Ross in a positive and professional manner.
  • Use the ambassador hashtag #RossSMA in all relevant posts.

Collaborate with the official Ross social media accounts and have the opportunity for your content to be featured.
 

Monetary rewards

Earn Blue Bucks ($20 per post, with a limit of $99 per year) to spend on campus.
 

Ambassador Requirements
  • Must be a current Ross student enrolled in any program.
  • Commit to a one-semester term with the ability to renew.
  • Create at least two pieces of content (eg. two videos, posts, etc.) per semester.
  • Prior experience in content creation and social media, whether professional or personal.

Type of content to create (including but not limited to):

  • Daily life at Ross/U-M: Share your personal experiences and daily routine as a Ross student.
  • Student interviews: Engage with fellow students through quick interviews and Q&A sessions.
  • Event coverage: Cover various school events to create buzz and engagement.
  • Local insights: Provide information about Ann Arbor, on and off-campus 
  • Academic and program information: Share tips on applying to Ross, insights into elective courses, and information about available resources.
