Take the Lead 

A great business without a great leader? Doesn’t happen. Leadership is at the heart of building a better world through business, which is why you’ll find many ways to sharpen your leadership skills while in the BBA program. 

BBA Council
Be the voice of your classmates. This peer-elected council acts on behalf of the student body to partner with Ross leadership and promote positive change within the school.

Ross Undergraduate Student Advisory Board (RUSAB)
Have an opinion about what courses should be offered at Ross? Advocate for the future of Ross academics by joining this representative body of the BBA class.

Town Halls
Town halls are a great way to share your input directly with deans, faculty, staff, and administrators, as well as your fellow classmates. Look for town halls at least once a term.

Explore emerging technologies in Michigan FinTech, be of service through groups like Maize and Blue Cupboard, hit the rink with Ice Hockey Club, or check out a variety of other social, sport, community, identity, or career-based groups.

Out For Business Undergraduate is committed to both creating a community on campus that is inclusive for LGBTQ+ students in addition to developing the professional acumen of its members. We leverage computer science in order to create algorithms and code to solve quantitative trading, investment banking, and consulting problems.

Show What You Know 

Case competitions are your chance to represent Ross and compete against the best and brightest from other B-schools. Put your leadership and academic knowledge to the test by working with a team to propose solutions for common business challenges. Case competitions are hosted around the country throughout the year. And did we mention? The winners don’t just get glory; they can earn prize money, too. 

National Diversity Case Competition
This case competition brings together diverse talent who identify dynamic solutions to  real-world problems. The case competition, held annually over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, also gives students the chance to network with corporate partners in attendance.  

Women’s Case Competition
Hosted by the University of Texas at Austin, all-female teams in this case competition present solutions to a variety of current challenges facing participating businesses. Women’s Case Competition is a chance for students to connect, learn, and show off their skills.  

UBSLC Case Competition
The Undergraduate Business School Leadership Conference case competition, hosted by Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, gives students a platform to address real world issues while testing their analytical skills and their ability to work under pressure.
