Career Background

Jason Koenig is the Founder and Managing Partner of ITE Management L.P. ITE Management L.P. is an investment firm that targets transportation, industrial assets, companies, and related infrastructure and services. The firm embraces macro-economic themes to make long-view investments, rather than expedient ones. The firm has investments and operations throughout the United States and Europe. It currently manages ~$10BLN of assets with offices in New York, Chicago and St. Louis.

Jason has spent his career working in private equity and asset management. He has built or acquired companies in a variety of industries including industrial, manufacturing, metals, mining, financial, telecommunications, robotics, and consumer and retail.

Prior to his investment career, Jason worked at Kirkland & Ellis and Cooley Godward, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, bankruptcy acquisitions, and general corporate law.

Jason earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School (2005), a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School (1998) and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan (1995). He has served on and advised both profit and not-for-profit boards and lectured at several universities. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and two teenage daughters.
