Kyle Wisman

Since 2019, Kyle has served as an executive leader at XPO, one of the largest providers of asset-based less-than-truckload transportation in North America. Prior to his appointment as chief financial officer in August 2023, Kyle served as XPO’s senior vice president of financial planning & analysis and was responsible for setting the financial terms for two company spinoffs and the sale of a business unit. He also served as the senior vice president of revenue management and finance, where he maximized XPO’s biggest lever for profit improvement: pricing. 

Over his 18-year career, Kyle has held numerous senior financial positions with global public companies, including General Electric Company and Baker Hughes, where he was head of global financial planning and analysis for two divisions. He also worked as the chief financial officer for Pressure Control, an oil and gas business. 

Kyle and his wife, Amanda, have two daughters and live in Scarsdale, New York. They enjoy exploring New York City’s museums and visiting farmers markets on the weekends. With their extended family residing in Michigan, the Wismans frequently visit Michigan and always carve out time to explore campus. Amanda is an attorney and a fellow University of Michigan alum (LSA ’05) so the Wisman family is a Wolverine family!
