PhD

Marketing is concerned with developing an understanding of how consumers and producers interact in markets. Our approach to developing this understanding (and scholarship in general) is inclusive, i.e., not restricted to a specific paradigm or methodology or base discipline. For example, our faculty members and doctoral students collaborate with researchers in Psychology, Statistics, Economics, and Engineering. Research in Marketing at Ross has a substantive focus, addressing both basic and applied questions.
