Benefit from extensive and personalized career resources to help reach your career goals in the Ross Executive MBA Program.
Personalized leadership development is integral to the Michigan Ross Executive MBA experience and a key element that makes our program unique.
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) weaves together leadership-building courses, workshops, and coaching throughout your Ross EMBA experience. Ross Professor Jeffrey Sanchez-Burks — whose widely read research focuses on global collaborations, emotional intelligence and innovation — is the director of the Ross LDP. The program is customized to help you identify and achieve your unique leadership goals.
At the outset of the program, you create your own leadership development plan through individualized executive coaching, guided self-assessment, 360-degree feedback, and more. Throughout the program, you work on this plan and gain the skills, tools, and insight to maximize your leadership effectiveness.
Courses in our curriculum — such as Negotiations, Leading Organizational Change, and Personal and Organizational Leadership — further your development and enrich your experience. You also will attend workshops focusing on practical topics such as managing difficult conversations, delivering powerful presentations, and media relations.
You emerge from Michigan Ross with:
- new tools to understand and leverage your personal leadership style
- a personalized plan to expand your leadership influence in your career
- honed and refined leadership skills for senior-level executive success
