Career Background

Harris Point Chicago is real estate development/management company based in Chicago and focused on green building design and environmentally sensitive residential renovation projects. Harris Point has been offering exceptional housing across the Little Italy, UIC, and Illinois Medical Center neighborhoods in Chicago for over 20 years. Aaron previously was the Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy for the Equipment Finance Division at Wells Fargo. In this position, he was responsible for the development and execution of the strategic vision of the Vendor Finance business and led the marketing, communications, sales enablement, and data analytics departments.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Aaron spent 10 years at GE Capital in global roles including Director of Marketing, Strategy, & Customer Experience; Director of Commercial & Customer Intelligence. Also at GE, Aaron helped to launch the Global Sustainability Group at GE Capital Real Estate, the first and largest division in the RE industry focused on improving the environmental efficiency and performanceacross a global portfolio of Real Estate assets. Aaron is also a graduate of GE’s Experienced Commercial Leadership Program.

While at Michigan, Aaron focused on entrepreneurship, real estate development, and urban sustainability. Aaron published a comprehensive green development guidebook targeted for real estate developers and policy makers throughout the state of Michigan. The project earned several grants including a P3 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency and won the National Student Collaboration Award presented by the American Society of Landscape Architects. 

Aaron graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madision with a BA in Sociology (Honors) and a Certificate in Environmental Studies, and graduated from the University of Michigan with both an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business and an MS from the School of Natural Resources & Environment.

Aaron lives with his wife (Jaime, BBA ‘03) and their three children, all of whom are avid Michigan fans!
