My work can be found at, and I would greatly appreciate you sharing my information with anyone you know who might need creative support. I am currently based in NYC. Marcus Collins, MBA '09; I am so excited to announce the launch of my first book For The Culture: the power behind what we buy, what we do, and who we want to be. The book examines the influence of culture on human behavior and unpacks how everyone from marketers to activists can leverage culture to get people to take action. Throughout the book, I rely on literature, case studies, my own work (with Beyoncé, Apple, and different ad agencies), and a ton of data (from my academic work) to illustrate the “whys” and the “hows” so that readers will be empowered to successfully apply these learnings in their own pursuits. Whether to provide a legacy plan for future generations or to "spend assets so that the last check written in this life bounces," I feel as though I've taken near full advantage of the financial talents the Lord gave me, combined with entrepreneurial skills gleaned from accounting, finance and small business classes at Michigan. The friends made along the way, the places traveled and the life lived could hardly have been better, let alone dreamed of. Best news? God is not finished with me yet. [EST. 10.2022]
