From the classroom to the world’s logistics centers, the Ross MBA experience is designed to help you stand out as you recruit for the most desirable jobs in operations.
The Tauber Institute for Global Operations is a multidisciplinary operations program at the University of Michigan. Students who participate in the Tauber Institute through the MBA program will combine Ross' world-class MBA curriculum with a relevant, high-profile operations internship and additional operations-related courses from both the Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering.
Three MBA students with the Tauber Institute share their experiences in operations during their time at Ross. They break down how the Tauber programs fit into the MBA curriculum, and how students can take advantage of other resources to pursue a career in operations.
This experiential, cross-disciplinary course puts teams of students from Ross, the College of Engineering, the School of Art & Design, and the School of Information together in a product development competition. Teams must design every aspect of a product including its engineering, supply chain and distribution channels, marketing and branding, and more. The course ends with a trade show featuring prototypes on display.
Our Career Development Office will be with you every step of the way to help you find and land a job you love in operations.
