The Tauber Institute for Global Operations is a multidisciplinary operations program at the University of Michigan. Students who participate in the Tauber Institute through the MBA program will combine Ross' world-class MBA curriculum with a relevant, high-profile operations internship and additional operations-related courses from both the Ross School of Business and the College of Engineering.

This experiential, cross-disciplinary course puts teams of students from Ross, the College of Engineering, the School of Art & Design, and the School of Information together in a product development competition. Teams must design every aspect of a product including its engineering, supply chain and distribution channels, marketing and branding, and more. The course ends with a trade show featuring prototypes on display.
