Beth Michelson

Beth Michelson, CFA, is Partner with Cartesian Capital Group, a global private equity firm headquartered in NYC. She has more than 20 years’ experience building businesses globally with Cartesian and previously with AIG Capital Partners and Wasserstein Perella. Ms. Michelson is also the CFO of CGC II (NASDAQ: RENE), a blank check company targeting transnational businesses and was a member of the management team of CGC I (NASDAQ: GLBL) that she led to a successful NASDAQ listing in January 2023. Beth currently serves on the board of directors of Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFE), as well as several private companies in Canada, Latin America, and the UK. She also serves on the Global Advisory Board of Columbia Business School Chazen Institute for Global Business. Ms. Michelson has an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, a MIA from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and a BA with distinction from the University of Michigan.
