Jason F. Jarjosa
Jason F. Jarjosa is Managing Partner of Bloomfield Capital and serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Bloomfield is a real estate private equity firm based outside of Detroit, MI that manages ~$500 million in capital focused on real estate, opportunistic and credit-related strategies throughout the United States. Bloomfield has funded investments valued at over $1.5 billion since 2008. Jason and his partners have grown Bloomfield from a start-up to 20 professionals across offices in Birmingham, MI, New York, NY, and Portland, ME. Bloomfield’s investors are comprised of institutional investors such as pension funds, endowments and foundations located throughout the US. Prior to Bloomfield, Jason was Vice President of ValStone Partners, a $900 million private equity firm located in Baltimore, MD and Birmingham, MI focusing on opportunistic and distressed investments. Before that, Jason held business development positions at Trilogy Software in Austin, TX and Callidus Software in Chicago, IL. Jason started his career as a mergers and acquisitions investment banker at Schroders (now Citigroup) in New York.
He serves as a Trustee of Detroit Country Day School and is a founding Board Member of FDIC-insured de novo bank, Community Unity Bank (CUB Bank).
Jason received his BBA and MBA from The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he has guest-lectured, and previously served on the school’s Alumni Board of Governors (ABOG). Jason lives in Birmingham, MI with his wife Shelby and two children, Reid and Darcy.
