Career Background

John Lobo is the founder and CEO of Prescribed Health, a Michigan based healthcare provider. Prescribed Health specializes in the care and rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients, providing high quality clinical outcomes while educating and empowering patients to take charge of their own care, allowing them to achieve the highest possible level of health and independence.

Prior to starting Prescribed Health, John served as a hospital administrator at Beaumont Hospital and Oakwood Hospital. While at Beaumont, John helped to create the Lean/Six Sigma training course, and lead process improvement teams utilizing Lean and Six Sigma to increase efficiency and quality, while reducing hospital errors and improving patient safety.

John received his BS and MBA degrees from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, John attended the Washington Campus MBA initiative, which incorporates the public policy and healthcare policy dimensions into managerial decision making and strategic planning. John attributes his classes in entrepreneurship at Michigan Ross as the motivation to start his own business venture in the healthcare realm.

John lives in Troy, Michigan with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and coaching lacrosse and football. In addition, John was the president of a local non-profit.

John is open to mentoring and advising opportunities, especially in the healthcare entrepreneurship space.
