From B-School Aide to Tech Coach Entrepreneur: Amy Burk’s Journey When Amy Burk (BBA ’93) took a job as an aide in the B-School computer lab to earn extra money during her time at the University of Michigan, she couldn’t have imagined how her passion for technology and teaching would evolve. Over the years, Amy combined her love for both fields, building a remarkable technology career in the private and public sectors that led her to launch her own business, TechWise Coaching, in 2024. TechWise Coaching offers personalized and group technology coaching services for older adults, focusing on building confidence and skills at every level. Amy works with senior community groups, residential communities, and individual clients, meeting them where they are with patience and expertise. Her commitment to empowering learners reflects the same dedication she showed in B-School—only now, Amy is helping her clients navigate the digital world with confidence and ease.
