Mike Mahaffey, MBA '02, Nationwide's Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, will report to new CEO Kirt Walker. Mahaffey will oversee the company’s strategy in addition to mergers & acquisitions. Mike joined Nationwide in 2005 as Associate Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to Nationwide, Mike’s career included roles at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher law firm, Deloitte Consulting and as an adjunct finance professor at The Ohio State University. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Pepperdine University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.  Est. 12.2019
