Ron Kim (LSA '90, Ross EMBA '05): announced in July 2025 he'd be retiring from his 35-year full-time career in technology on December 31, 2025. 

Ron was the Senior Vice President & Global Chief Technology Officer for Merck from 2020-2025, prior to that he was the IT lead for TPG's $120B Private Equity Portfolio, CIO of the Fortune 100 Exelon Utilities, and a Partner/Managing Director for Accenture. 

Ron will continue to stay involved in technology as an independent part-time VC/PE tech advisor via his own company Ron Kim Advisory and splitting time between the Philadelphia area and the New Jersey Shore.
