Abigail Alpern Fisch

Hi! I'm Abigail, originally from Bethesda, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. I graduated from Tufts University in 2020 and spent the past five years working in the nonprofit sector, focusing on advocacy, program management, and community outreach. My experience includes nonprofit communications, producing two podcasts on public service engagement, and serving as a program manager and leadership development facilitator for federal public servants.

I decided to pursue an MBA to deepen my understanding of how social impact ventures are funded, the diverse stakeholders involved in driving impact through business, and the strategic decisions leaders--especially those in mission-driven organizations--must make to achieve a double bottom line. These goals closely align with Ross’s mission to build a better world through business, making it the ideal place for me to take this challenging and exciting next step.
