Amogh Kabra

I'm Amogh, a 27-year-old from India with a strong foundation shaped by the dynamic, cosmopolitan life of Mumbai. Growing up in a city rich with diverse cultures taught me to adapt seamlessly to different people, environments, and challenges. I pursued a Bachelor’s in Commerce from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, graduating in 2019, and developed a deep interest in finance and financial statements, the fundamental building blocks of valuation which led me to pursue the ACCA qualification.

Professionally, I spent eight years at EY in Audit and Assurance, beginning as an intern in 2017 during my undergraduate studies and continuing with the firm after graduation. Over time, I progressed to managing teams of up to 25 members across audit projects in industries such as Technology, SaaS, Healthcare IT, Logistics, and E-commerce. My curiosity for understanding the story behind every number and leveraging data analysis allowed me to integrate visualization tools into core audit processes, achieving automation milestones for the first time in the firm. As an Assistant Manager, I handled complex accounting matters for clients, helping them optimize KPIs within the framework of relevant accounting standards, while providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

Outside of work, I am a sports enthusiast, regularly playing cricket, soccer, and pickleball. I have a passion for adventure sports, particularly water sports like surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. I enjoy pushing my limits and embracing new challenges, both professionally and personally.
