Ananth Salagundi

Class of 2027

Hey everyone, I’m Ananth! I’m originally from Michigan, but I’ve been living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for most of the past decade. I started out in software engineering, but this past year I’ve been running sales and business development at a local escape room company. It’s been a fun mix of helping the business grow while making sure people have a great time solving puzzles and creating lasting memories.

I’m now pursuing my MBA at Ross because I want to bring together my love for technology and my business skills to build products that have a real impact on people’s lives. Ross stood out to me because of the strong recruiting support across for tech (which is applicable for all career paths), the amazing entrepreneurial resources at the Zell Lurie Institute - like the Dare to Dream program - and the welcoming, collaborative student community. And of course, MTrek (destination: Norway) has already been one of my favorite Ross memories!

Outside of school and work, I’m really into sports. I love playing flag football and cricket, and I’m a big fan of watching football, cricket, and Formula 1. I also co-host a podcast called NFL Masala where I get to share my passion for football. Beyond sports, I love cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends.

I’m excited to connect with all of you, share more about my Ross experience and answer any questions along the way!
