Andrew Sovel
I grew up just outside of Ann Arbor as a lifelong Wolverines fan and completed my undergraduate studies at U of M. I graduated with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) in December 2020 and joined Accenture Federal Services in Washington, D.C., working in Accenture's Strategy & Consulting practice. During my time at AFS, I focused on using data and reporting to help achieve strategic and operational goals and led multiple teams in pursuit of that objective. The choice to come to Ross was an easy one - I was incredibly impressed with Ross's action-based learning model and knew the culture of excellence that's a defining characteristic of the University of Michigan. I also knew that I would have, and be well prepared for, a wide range of career opportunities available to me after graduation. I may be biased, but I don't think there's another school in the country that offers a better balance of academic rigor, career advancement, and meaningful social connection than Michigan Ross.
I'm currently involved in the Consulting Club, Michigan Sports Business Association, Detroit Initiative at Ross, and serve as an Events Chair for my section. Professionally, I am recruiting for consulting opportunities in Chicago.
I would love to chat about life in Ann Arbor, the Michigan culture, consulting, football Saturdays, or anything else you would like to talk about.
