Anjli Lodhavia

Class of 2027

Prior to Ross, I earned an undergraduate degree in Human Communication Sciences and Psychology from Northwestern University followed by a Master’s in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Rush University. Over the past decade, I have worked as a medical speech-language pathologist across 3 different hospital systems. I currently practice at Henry Ford Health, where I helped build out our Laryngology Center of Excellence, including multiple interdisciplinary voice, upper airway, and swallowing clinics. I also launched an outpatient clinical fellowship program to provide specialized, niche training for early-career speech-language pathologists.

I chose the Ross Weekend MBA to pivot beyond clinical care and develop business acumen while continuing to keep one foot in the hospital world. Ross’ action-based learning, team projects, and leadership development opportunities have allowed me to apply concepts from the classroom to my day job in real time. Yet there is no doubt that the most rewarding aspect of this program is the people. My cohort is incredibly supportive, collaborative, and always willing to lend a hand when the going gets rough (and yes, it gets rough).

My goal after getting my MBA is to become a healthcare executive. I hope to leverage my clinical experience to make meaningful impact in our everchanging healthcare ecosystem. Outside of work and school, I enjoy reading novels, running, traveling the globe, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my husband and our Tibetan Terrier.

If you work in healthcare and are thinking about getting an MBA, or if my story resonates with you in any shape or form, feel free to reach out! I am always happy to connect.
