Anneliese Ferguson

Class of 2026

I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan's College of Engineering (Go Blue!!). During my undergraduate studies, I pursued a minor in Business Administration at Ross, where I fell in love with the intersection of technology and business. After working in software engineering, I realized I wanted to pivot toward the strategic use of technology in a business context. This led me to the world of analytics, where I can use my technical foundation to solve human-centric challenges and drive meaningful business decisions.

When I decided to pursue a graduate degree, Ross was the natural choice. Having experienced the incredible faculty and hands-on curriculum firsthand during my minor, I knew the MBAn program would provide the perfect environment to bridge my technical lens with high-level business strategy. Now that I am here, I am certain I made the right choice. I have grown my professional skillset and network while building lifelong friendships within a supportive community.

Originally from Northern Michigan, I am a lifelong Wolverine with a deep love for the outdoors. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy hiking, running, and connecting with friends. Please reach out if you would like to chat about the transition from Engineering to Ross, the MBAn experience, or the best spots to visit in Northern Michigan. Whether you are navigating the application process or just want to hear more about life as a Wolverine, I would love to connect!
