Hi, I’m Apala Rath! Before joining Ross, I worked in India’s leading building materials/construction chemicals firm - Pidilite, where I led product and category management, international partnerships, and large-scale product launches. From driving major cost savings to spearheading a cross-border collaboration with a German company, I learned how strategic decisions can transform businesses. These experiences sparked my desire to pursue an MBA and broaden my perspective beyond one industry globally.

I chose Ross because of its collaborative, pay-it-forward culture and the unmatched opportunities for action-based learning. From MAP to the student-run venture funds, Ross provides the ideal environment to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while learning alongside peers from diverse backgrounds. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about dance, food and travel.
