Avery Black

Hello! My name is Avery Black, and I am a part-time MBA student at the Ross School of Business, focusing on Finance and Strategy. I currently live in Toledo, OH, but I grew up in Memphis, TN. Professionally, I work as an accountant at Kimberly-Clark, and I have additional experience in supply chain, sourcing, and the energy department at a large manufacturing company.

Outside of work and school, you’ll likely find me at our local park or watching Bluey and Ms. Rachel alongside my two daughters, ages 3 and 1. I’m a proud husband and father, balancing family life with my studies and career. I’m passionate about all things University of Michigan and enjoy watching as many Wolverine sports as I can.
