Bernie Sun

I grew up in Tianjin, China, and came to the U.S. to study at Indiana University, where I earned my degrees in Finance and Accounting. Before joining Ross, I spent about five years in Indiana working as a Senior Financial Analyst at an industrial manufacturing company, where I gained broad experience across corporate finance. Pursuing an MBA at Ross was the natural next step for me because of its extensive network, action-based learning, and the strong sense of community that made me confident this was the right place to grow both personally and professionally.

Outside of class, I enjoy playing board games and cooking—especially Chinese and Korean dishes. I’m always happy to connect, share my experiences at Ross, and support prospective students as they navigate the MBA application process.
