Bharath Natarajan

Class of 2026

Before Ross, I spent a few years working in commodities trading and logistics. I started at Goldman Sachs in their Commodities team, where I helped manage risk in fast-moving markets, and then joined Javelin Global Commodities as part of its new office in Bengaluru. There, I worked across logistics and finance, built cash projection models, and even got involved in projects tied to distressed mining assets and deal structures. Being so close to the action of global trade and finance is what ultimately inspired me to pursue an MBA and transition into investment banking, with a focus on Industrials.

I was drawn to Ross because of its strong sense of community and the chance to learn by doing. The action-based programs really stood out to me as ways to apply what I learn in the classroom to real business challenges. I also found Ann Arbor to be a welcoming and tight-knit place to spend that chapter of my life.

During my free time, I watch soccer and Formula 1, play racquetball, and explore different gourmet burgers.

I'm always glad to connect about making the jump to business school, exploring Ross programs, recruiting for investment banking, or anything in between.
