Bogeum Choi

Class of 2026

I was born and raised in South Korea and studied both business and computer science as an undergraduate. I began my career at KPMG as an auditor, and later pivoted to EY as a risk consultant, advising clients across diverse industries.

I chose Ross because of its strong reputation for a close-knit, collaborative culture, and it has exceeded my expectations.

My Favorite Parts of Ross

  1. Diverse opportunities – I’ve been able to explore diverse industries and opportunities, all with school support.
  2. The people – Rossers are collaborative, kind, and fun, with backgrounds spanning many industries and geographies.
  3. Alumni network – Ross alumni are generous with their time and candid about their experiences.
  4. Sports culture – From football to tennis, basketball, baseball, and hockey, there are games to enjoy almost every day.
  5. Regional strength – Ross has an especially strong presence in the Midwest.

The MBA application journey is tough—I experienced self-doubt and felt my ego hit a low point. But the most important lesson I learned is not to force yourself into what you think schools want. Instead, find a school that truly fits you. I’m happy to answer any questions to help you figure out whether Ross is the right fit.
