Brian Lim

This is Brian Lim, a first year MBA student ambassador here at Ross.

I was born in South Korea and grew up in Hong Kong, then headed back to South Korea for college and work. I earned my undergraduate degree in Materials Science and Engineering, served in the South Korean army, and began my career in the semiconductor industry upon graduation. Over the years, I've worked in two different functions: first as an engineer solving technical challenges, and later as an HR manager focused on talent acquisition and people strategy.

Through Ross, I am seeking opportunities to pivot into the consulting industry, where I can combine my problem-solving mindset with my passion for making a broader impact across industries. Outside of class, I love connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, attending social events, playing & watching sports, exploring Ann Arbor and so on.

Ann Arbor is a beautiful place, but it gets even better when you are part of such a brilliant, energetic community. There is more to Ross than what appears online. I am happy to discuss my journey and experiences, so reach out if you have any questions.
