Byungwook Koh

Hi, I’m Byungwook (Brian) Koh, a first-year MBA student at Michigan Ross. 

I was born and raised in Seoul and built my career in the biotech industry, working at Samsung Biologics and later at Merck as a project manager. In these roles, I managed global client projects, led cross-functional teams, and gained insights into how the industry grows and adapts. I also bring experience from my family business, a global manufacturing company, where I plan to return after graduation to help drive sustainable growth and international expansion.

At Ross, I’m especially interested in growing as a leader and learning how to create impact in global business settings.

I’ve traveled to over 50 countries, but these days I’m really enjoying exploring Ann Arbor and discovering hidden gems across Michigan. I’m always happy to chat with prospective students about the Ross experience, recruiting, or even the best places to eat in Ann Arbor!
