Caroline Krieger

Prior to Ross, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Alabama. I initially planned to go to medical school, but through my shadowing experiences determined that I was most invigorated by the systemic issues in healthcare. In exploring this further, I recognized how business is an effective avenue to addressing some of these challenges. Thus, I pivoted and gained experience in business development at a wearable technology startup focused on go-to-market strategy for the US medical device market. Seeking more experience at a larger healthcare institution, I took a role in regulatory compliance at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where I gained a broad view of the regulatory landscape in clinical trials. I came to Ross in order to develop a more solid foundation of business knowledge and skills and to pivot into consulting, where I hope to help healthcare-related businesses navigate strategic challenges.

I chose Ross specifically because of the tight-knit community and the focus on building skills through action-based learning. I immediately felt at home when I arrived on campus, and would be more than happy to talk more about why Ross has been a fantastic choice for me.
