Chris Corbett

Hello! My name is Chris Corbett and I live in Traverse City, Michigan. I was born and raised in Northern Michigan, graduating from a high school in a small town (graduating class of 25 students). I did my first two years of college at the local community college in Traverse City, and completed my undergraduate degree from Ferris State at a satellite campus (also in Traverse City) with a degree in business management. During my time in undergrad, I interned in the financial services industry. Just before graduating from Ferris, I took a sales position as a boat and yacht dealership in Northern Michigan, where I have spent the last 6 years. 

I always knew I wanted to go back to school, and growing up in Michigan (and naturally a huge wolverine fan) always aspired to go to school at U of M. My wife is nearing the end of her online Masters degree in the school of nursing at U of M, and I watched first hand the impact and opportunities this amazing school has allotted her. This testimony paired with the global network of Ross alumni and flexible program led to a short list of schools I applied to. 

Outside of work and school, I enjoy playing golf and pickleball and I love volunteerism, working with numerous organizations in Northern Michigan. My wife and I have three dogs and enjoy spending time on the beautiful water here in Traverse City. Please reach out if I can be a resource in any way! I look forward to connecting and GO BLUE!
