Daksh Mittal

I grew up in India and spent more than eight years in the UK before coming to Ross for my MBA. My background is in engineering and operations, where I led cross-functional teams and managed large-scale projects. Over time, I realized I wanted to broaden my impact beyond technical problem-solving and pivot into product management and strategy, which led me to pursue business school.

I chose Ross because of the people. From my earliest interactions with students and alumni, I felt the strong sense of community and collaboration that makes Ross unique. The action-based learning approach here has also been an incredible way to apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges while growing as a leader.

Outside of class and recruiting, I enjoy socializing, meeting new people, exploring Ann Arbor’s food scene—especially its great ice cream spots—and playing pickleball to keep up with the trends.
