David Timmes

I'm the Chief Operating Officer of XFER Communications, a Detroit-area managed service provider within Lyra Technology Group, where I lead service delivery, financial operations, and process engineering across 24/7 IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

I bring a combination of hands-on engineering experience and executive operational leadership. I spent nearly seven years at Boeing in the LGO/Tauber Leadership Development Program, rotating through Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Engineering roles on the 777/777X program. Prior to Boeing, I spent five years at Air Products as a Project and Pressure Systems Engineer, executing capital projects at industrial facilities across North America.

I hold an MBA and a B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
