Dipak Patel

Prior to Ross, I worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at a private equity firm, and earlier with Deloitte and KPMG, where I focused on hedge fund and private equity clients. My experiences in tax strategy and cross-border structuring sparked my interest in the investment side of private equity, which I’m pursuing post-MBA. 

I was drawn to Ross for its supportive community I felt even before joining Ross. Outside of academics and career goals, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures — one of my favorite recent experiences was chasing the Northern Lights in Iceland. I’m also passionate about giving back, whether through mentoring or community initiatives, and I’m excited to share my journey and help prospective students learn more about Ross.
