Fangjue Xie

I come from a middle city in Central China, where my journey first began.

After spending six years in Beijing studying and working, I moved to Shanghai, where I lived for nearly a decade. During this time, I built my career in advertising and tech monetization, helping global brands connect with millions of users through innovative marketing and digital solutions.

In my most recent role, I worked in sales, a field that constantly pushed me out of my comfort zone. I enjoyed the challenge of solving complex problems, driving business growth, and building client relationships — experiences that helped me grow both professionally and personally.

Now, I’ve decided to take on a new challenge by joining the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. I believe that placing myself in a rigorous, collaborative, and globally diverse environment will help me explore new possibilities and unlock the next stage of my career journey.
