Hans (Huiguan) Sun

Hello, I’m Hans Sun. Originally from China, I studied at the University of Toronto, where I earned my CPA designation and began my career in technical accounting and financial planning. Before business school, I worked as a finance business partner, collaborating with clients and project teams to drive profitability, refine pricing strategies, and support long-term partnerships.

I came to the Ross School of Business to strengthen my strategic thinking and pivot into consulting. During my time at Ross, I found the community, collaborative culture, and hands-on opportunities incredibly rewarding — from MAP to student-led initiatives. I spent my summer with Bain & Company in Chicago, working with the Private Equity Group on commercial due diligence projects, and I’ll be returning full-time after graduation.
