Henry Liang

I was born and raised in China, started my career in management consulting, and later joined a fintech startup, where I led a business line focused on growing the online credit service. This entrepreneurial experience led me to join an early-stage VC firm and accelerator (Plug and Play Tech Center), where I co-founded their fintech vertical initiatives in the China office. Along the way, I also co-founded an IoT startup.

Ross attracted me with its strong, close-knit alumni network in tech, startups, and investing. I also love the small-town lifestyle in Ann Arbor, it’s an amazing place for building tight relationships, exploring local culture, and fully experiencing life abroad.
