Irma Gaviño Soria

Class of 2027

I was borned and raised in Mexico City. I earned my bachelor's in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, where I worked as an Environmental Research Assistant during my last two semesters. After graduation, I joined PepsiCo's Strategy team, working as an internal consultant involved in M&A, innovation and business turnarounds projects.

I decided to pursue an MBA to strenghten my leadership skills, gain a global perspective, and expand my business expertise. I was initially drawn to Ross for its academic rigor and action-based learning, but what truly convinced me to enroll were the incredible people and the supportive alumni community I met throughout the application process.

I would love to chat about my experience and answer any questions you may have about the application process, life in Ann Arbor, or the Ross culture.
