Jacob A. Hood

Hello! I am Jacob Hood. I am a proud member of the Ross WMBA class of 2026. Before I could read I was learning how to use computers and technology which inspired me to pursue a career as a software engineer. I soon realized that most engineers choose to become very technical or focus their efforts on people management. 

I soon realized that I loved working with people more than code and that inspired me to start my MBA journey here at Ross and it has been the best decision I have made in my career. Now, I have a network of "leaders and the best" who will help guide my career towards my goals.

Transitioning from being an engineer to more of a business focus was a challenge, but it can be done! I look forward to connecting with you and answering any questions you may have.
