Jaelynn Jarman
Hi, I’m Jaelynn, a Dean’s Impact Scholar and proud first-generation college graduate. Before Ross, I served as Operations and Finance Manager at the DC Ed Fund, where I supported the financial and operational infrastructure of education grant programs. My commitment to educational equity is rooted in my experiences—from working as a Teaching Fellow with Breakthrough Collaborative and tutoring at many local elementary schools, to studying abroad in six countries during undergrad.
I earned my BS in Psychology with a minor in Human Development from Howard University and am an alumna of MLT’s MBA Prep and MBA Professional Development programs.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy going on long walks with my dog, Bentley, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and watching romantic comedies.
As a Student Ambassador, I look forward to sharing my journey as a first-generation college student with a nontraditional background and supporting future candidates from underrepresented communities.
