Jay An

I am an engineering leader and active duty Naval Officer currently living in Washington, DC,  pursuing my MBA at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a focus on Strategy and Operations. I hold a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from NC State University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UT Dallas, where I served as VP of the Engineering Honor Society.

Throughout my ongoing service with the United States Navy, I have led cross-functional teams on complex reactor servicing and spent fuel disposal projects, consistently delivering cost savings and operational improvements. I am also a Licensed Professional Engineer and a dedicated advocate for sustainability, leading electrification and HVAC upgrades for my condo association.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, classical singing, and scuba diving. I have logged over 20 dives since 2022 and am passionate about exploring and conserving underwater ecosystems.
