Kenta Okada

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, I spent 15 years there before moving to Pennsylvania for high school and later San Diego for undergrad. After graduating, I returned to Tokyo and joined Bloomberg as an equity analyst. In that role, I partnered with the sales team to identify product opportunities and trained clients on optimizing equity-related workflows using the Bloomberg Terminal. These experiences deepened my understanding of global markets and client engagement, and ultimately inspired me to pursue an MBA to pivot into consulting—where I can leverage my background to solve complex challenges alongside others.

The support and encouragement I received from the Ross community played a pivotal role in my application journey. Since joining, I’ve found that same collaborative spirit to be even stronger.
