Kunal Dave

Hello! I’m Kunal Dave, a Weekend MBA student at Ross.

Originally from India, I came to the U.S. to pursue a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Wayne State University in Detroit. Since then, I’ve built my career in the automotive industry, focusing on occupant safety and crash systems. Over the past six years, I’ve worked in both engineering and management roles and currently serve as a Product CAE Engineer at Toyoda Gosei North America.

I chose the Ross Weekend MBA to expand my business acumen and explore a transition into consulting, while continuing to grow alongside a diverse and accomplished cohort. Ross stood out for its action-based learning, the Sanger Leadership Center’s immersive challenges, and the close-knit, collaborative culture that makes balancing work, school, and life not just possible but rewarding.

Outside of work and school, I love exploring new places, and diving into emerging ideas at the intersection of technology and business. I’m also passionate about entrepreneurship and enjoy brainstorming creative solutions to everyday problems.
