Lorenzo

Hi everyone! My name is Lorenzo, and I am an undergraduate Business student here at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I live in Southeastern Florida now. Having been in many very different environments across the country, I can confidently say there is no other place like U-of-M and Ross, specifically. Coming in as an out-of-state student, I knew next to no one, which I worried would make this huge University feel lonely. However, this fears quickly disappeared as I was welcomed with such kindness from the Ross community, including Freshmen and Upperclassmen. 

On-campus, I am involved in APEX Consulting as well as the Ross Undergraduate Advisory Board. These experiences, alongside my classroom experiences, have taught me so much about different careers I could explore. Additionally, I already have worked with real businesses, equipping me with practical skills that I can bring with me to wherever I choose to go in the future. I sincerely hope that sharing my experiences helps others see how Ross and Michigan as a whole can be their home!
