Marlee Sacksner
My name is Marlee Sacksner and I am a current Master of Management (MM) student at the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Prior to working towards the MM degree, I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Community and Global Public Health with a minor in Gender and Health in 2025. I have professional experience in healthcare administration. At Northwell Health's Center for Learning and Innovation, I worked as an Administrative/Research Intern, on a project-focused operations team. In this role, I analyzed paramedic-based data, presented findings to department heads, and developed a terminal competency-based assessment to improve paramedics' in-field diagnosis rates. I also gained hands-on operational experience as an OR Materials Management Assistant at the Lakes Surgery Center, where I managed the ordering and restocking of all OR supplies, collaborated with administrators, surgeons, and nurses, and developed an organized and direct communication style. Currently, through the MM's Consulting Studio, I am working with a local healthcare-focused nonprofit to support their marketing and finance efforts as part of a five-person team. I am passionate about healthcare administration and plan to pursue a career in hospital administration/management. Outside of work and school, I enjoy watching movies, baking, and playing board games with friends.
